I am looking forward to playing my Steel Guitar at a wedding at the Kea Lani tomorrow. I want to thank Envisions Entertainment for their support. I added another demo to my web page. It is AKAKA FALLS.
The song is usually done in the Jerry Byrd style at medium tempo with pretty straight chords. After listening to Kealii Reichel’s version and especially Nathan Aweau’s amazing version, I decided to spice it up a little. Here’s a demo. I may redo the steel. It sounds a little thin. I played it through my Fender Concert amp. More to come. Aloha.
