This is my arrangement for 6 string lap steel. I play it on an 8 string with a high G. I have modified this tab for 6 string C6 lap steel. I will try and get to “Because” when I have a chance. I hope you enjoy playing this.

Judy would have been proud to have you back her up with this version. Chord shifts are fantastic. You’ve captured an unusual smoothness tp the melodic structure. Let’s have more.
enjoy good lap steel tabs in c6
Many thanks for the Some ware over the rain bow tab. I need all the help I can get. I am 76 yrs old and took lessons when I was 10 yrs old and just last week I bough me a 6 string Lap Steel the only problem I have is not enough money to afford taking lessons all over again . When I seen your tab It helped me to remember a few things again. Again many thanks. Don
Great! If you look through my past posts you will see other tabs. I teach a two part class now at the university of Hawaii. I plan to make the material including instructional videos available on the Internet.
I have been performing, mostly singing with standard guitars since around 1975 in western Canada and chipping away at various slide styles but just lately a friend installed a Strat pickup on my old 50’s pearlite Hawaiian and now I’m hooked on C6. I love your version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”. I use to sing it and your version has really opened up this tuning for me. Thank you.
It works nicely in D in this tuning. Glad you’re enjoying the steel. My tuning adds a high G which helps in all my arrangements
Can you tell me where I can find “Tiny Bubbles” for 6 string lap steel in C6 tablature?
I have a backing track that I made and I play it sometimes when I perform I never made a tablature for it
