Are you playing How D’ya Do in acoustic guitar or electric guitar?
Laudable as your version is, I must admit it’s also the first time I’ve heard “How Dya Do” in the key of C, it does make the “Signature Harmonics” section somewhat problematical. I’m interested in your thoughts on this, being as you say on your site “I am passionate about carrying on the tradition of this rare instrument and style.”
I would have thought the definite version of this tune/song had already long ago been established by the Hawaii Calls team Jules Billy and Barney ?
I for one wouldn’t dare to presume I could improve on that, but I DID TRY to emulate.

The reason I do it in C is because I just have a single neck and I can get the Jerry Byrd sound by tuning my g to F#. Here in Hawaii the sound is Nahe Nahe. The Hawaiian style does not mean copying what others did note for note. Good steel players here take liberty with melodies here as well. I really appreciate your tabs and contribution. Aloha, Joel
