I’ve been working on this arrangement for a while for my upcoming CD and experimenting with my iPhone video and angle on a tripod. The tuning is C6 high G and the key of D makes use of open string positions to give an interesting sound. It’s actually pretty tricky to play even though the motions look pretty subtle. The hard part is muting, and lifting and pulling the bar to get the right notes. Here’s a video of me playing to the track. I’ll do a tablature if people are interested. I’ll be offering steel guitar at Maui College beginning Saturday January 9, 2017. Click HERE for the video.
